Our Story

In the heart of Dubai, UKO was born from a son's deep love for his mother. This brand is a tribute to her rich heritage, spanning the vibrant streets of Karachi, the historical streets of Delhi ending up in the rich coloured hued Pink City of Jaipur. Our intention is to capture the intoxicating sights and scents of these nostalgic cities.

UKO symbolizes the crossroads that many in the diaspora encounter-the friends who become family, the places that transform into homes, and the eternal yearning for a land that exists only in memories.

This brand is a reflection of countless individuals who weave together second and third cultures, creating a unique tapestry of identity. It is an ode to my Mama, Rukhsana, who was called Uko for short, embodying everything she was; joyful, playful, and brimming with personality. Through this brand, I aim to capture her essence and share it with the world, celebrating the beautiful blend of cultures and the stories that unite us all.

Our brand, deeply inspired by the timeless art of block printing from Jaipur, is designed to appeal to a diverse and inclusive audience. We celebrate the rich cultural heritage and intricate craftsmanship that Jaipur is renowned for, bringing it to life in contemporary fashion.
